How YusrLab handles your information, which third-party services we rely on, and what we are and are not responsible for.

Last updated: 10 September 2026

In short

YusrLab runs the Yusr Tag Generator, a free tool that suggests YouTube tags for a video title or topic. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

To produce suggestions we send your query to two Google services: the YouTube Data API, which supplies publicly available information about videos and search terms, and Google Gemini, which filters and ranks that raw material into a shorter, more useful keyword set. This page explains what that means in practice.

Who we are

This website is operated by YusrLab at yusrlab.online. YusrLab is an independent project, not a company acting on behalf of any platform.

Not affiliated with Google or YouTube

YusrLab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Google LLC, YouTube, or any of their subsidiaries. We are an independent third-party tool that consumes publicly documented Google APIs under their normal public terms.

The names YouTube, Google and Gemini, and any related marks or logos, are the property of their respective owners. We refer to them only to describe how the tool works.

Because our tool uses YouTube API Services, your use of it is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. We encourage you to read both.

What information we collect

The text you type in. When you use the tag generator, the video title or topic you enter is processed so we can return suggestions. Please do not enter personal, confidential or sensitive information into the tool — it is a keyword box, and nothing more is needed from you.

Basic technical information. Like almost all websites, our hosting provider records ordinary request data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamp. This is used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults.

What we do not collect. We do not require registration, we do not ask for your name or email to use the tool, we do not request access to your YouTube account, and we never ask for payment details.

How we use the YouTube Data API

When you submit a title or topic, we query the YouTube Data API using our own API credentials. The API returns publicly available information — things like related search terms, video titles, descriptions and tag-style metadata that YouTube already exposes about public videos.

This request is made with our key, not yours. We do not connect to your YouTube channel, we cannot see your private videos, analytics or subscriber data, and we never post, edit or delete anything on your behalf.

Any YouTube data we retrieve is used only to build the keyword suggestions shown back to you in that session. We do not build profiles of creators or resell YouTube data.

How we use Google Gemini

Raw API output is noisy. To turn it into something usable, we pass your query together with the retrieved public data to Google Gemini, which strains, deduplicates and ranks the material so that what you see is a shorter set of relevant, higher-quality keywords rather than an unfiltered dump.

This means your query text is transmitted to Google as part of that processing, and Google’s own terms and privacy practices apply to that transmission. Gemini’s ranking is automated and probabilistic — it produces suggestions, not guarantees, and it can occasionally return keywords that are off-topic or oddly worded. Always review the output before you use it.

We are not responsible for how the keywords are used

YusrLab only provides keyword suggestions, assembled from information YouTube already makes public. We do not upload videos, we do not control who uses the tool, and we have no visibility into what any given person does with the tags they copy.

We therefore accept no responsibility or liability for the videos, channels or content that use keywords obtained from this tool — including any spam, scam, misleading, deceptive, infringing or otherwise harmful content. The presence of our suggested tags on a video is not an endorsement of that video, its creator, or its claims, and implies no relationship between YusrLab and that channel.

You are solely responsible for the tags you apply to your own uploads and for making sure they honestly describe your content. Misusing tags — for example stuffing irrelevant or misleading terms — can breach YouTube’s own policies and put your channel at risk. Suggestions from this tool do not override those policies, and using them does not guarantee views, rankings, or compliance.

Cookies and analytics

The tag generator itself does not require cookies to work. Our website platform (WordPress) may set essential cookies needed for basic operation and security.

If we add analytics or advertising services in future, we will update this page before or at the point those services go live, and describe what they collect. You can also block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

How long we keep things

Queries are processed to generate your results and are not stored as part of a personal profile. Ordinary server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then rotated out in the normal course of operation.

Third-party services we rely on

Delivering this tool involves services we do not control. The main ones are:

  • Google / YouTube — YouTube Data API and Google Gemini (Privacy Policy, YouTube Terms)
  • Our web hosting provider, which serves this site and keeps standard access logs

These providers process data under their own policies. We suggest reviewing them if you want the full picture.

Children

This tool is intended for creators and general users, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this site, contact us and we will remove it.

Your choices and your rights

Because we do not hold accounts or build user profiles, there is usually very little personal data of yours for us to hold in the first place. Depending on where you live, you may still have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information relating to you. Contact us and we will do what we reasonably can.

You can also stop sharing data with us at any time simply by not using the tool.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the tool changes or as the services behind it change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be described rather than quietly slipped in.
